Travel Foodie Friday

I have been travelling quite a bit between cities and I find the road to be such a tempting place to get off track. I hear the excuses playing out in my mind that it's easier to just grab drive-thru and it's just for a few days. I think it might even be just because of holidays and the emotional attachments to treats that are triggered every time I get on a plane or in my car but I find that to be the fastest way to feel gross and be irritable. I wanted to mention this because I see it so often with families and kids. In no way am I judging as I do it to myself all the time but as I write this I'm dedicating myself to a different path, a more enjoyable one. It's all about resetting when we get off track these days while I dedicate myself to this 90 Happy Healthy Days before Chistmas. RESET- 90 Happy Healthy Days Launch Day!

We made it! I have been working hard to get the RESET program up and ready for Sept 15th, because believe me, I know we need a reset back to health! I feel that this program is so important right now. We all need to be focusing a little more on our health and overall wellness in these crazy times. I want to tell you that I am ready and truly believe this program will help anyone that has been feeling stressed, fearful or uneasy. I will be focusing on mind over matter techniques in this program and we will be discussing the scientific method so that we can all get good at doing research for ourselves, busting myths and using good judgement when it comes to what we consume or practice. It's important to learn about your own body but also understand how we can use food to combat illness and exercise to combat stress and be strong and ready to defend ourselves against illness and attack both mentally and physically. Let’s get started!

Many of you know I needed to take a year off due to an accident. But that wasn't all, I really needed a break as I was on the verge of burnout. I often talk about the importance of balance and here I was maxed out with no end in sight. I find God has a variety of ways to give you rest and it's kind of funny how something tragic can turn out to be alright in the end. The problem was not that I didn't love everything I was doing in work, and in study it was just I had bitten off a little more than I could do and I felt like nothing was getting my full attention. I was working a full-time job, going to school and running BMM which was all time-consuming with trip planning and program making with full-time clients it was just way too much.  Although the accident was painful I found the silver lining in it and because I was forced to rest I really had some time to think about what I wanted to do going forward.
