Summer is going to fly by
Summer is flying by as per usual. I have been making sure to make my rounds this year. School really put a damper on my usual travelling schedule. I really needed the break but I’m glad to be having some time to get out and see some people again.
The summer kicked off with Calgary’s Stampede again and as usual I was found in the Cowboys tent. Someone asked why I do it and assumed it must be the money. I have to tell you that if it were only for the money, it would not be worth it. I do it for many reasons; including the fact that it’s physically demanding and after being in front of books and a computer most days, I really enjoy the labour. Plus, I get to dance, and see concerts for free. I love seeing so many of my friends I don’t get time to see throughout the year and I get to make new ones. It really is an awesome networking time for those with an entrepreneurial spirit. It’s honestly one of my favourite times of the year. Unfortunately, this stampede left me pretty sick by the end with a bad cough and cold. I had to cancel my trip to Toronto and to be honest I’m not surprised. I’m usually pretty spent by the end of Stampede’s 10 days of madness. I feel like things always work out for the best in the end anyway so I’ll be rebooking that trip in the near future. After a weeks worth of sleeping and getting back on track I have been hitting my summer goals pretty well. My intention was to spend my summer focused on my photography in between BMM’s Fit Soul Challenge preparations, family and friend visits and weddings I have booked. It’s turned out to be a very packed season. I still have a few openings here and there so if you are anywhere in Alberta, feel free to hit me up. Plus if you read this post tell me and I’ll give you a special rate. Also, for BMM members, remember that you get special precedence over all other bookings and member only rates with myself and any other BMM tam photographer.
The Fitness Gurls Fitness Entrepreneur Seminar in LA has been cancelled and all those that were registered have been refunded. I’m sorry about the unforeseen circumstances that have arose. I will do my best to make it up to those who were looking forward to it. I have been arranging special coaching for those that have the interest in online fitness business. I have also started to reach out to those that have the potential to be BMM’s next Fitness Leader and Coach. Please let me know if you were hoping for a Canadian event as that is what has been talked about between our team and those registered. On the plus side that has opened up a weekend for more photoshoots or something special for the BMM Fit Fam… Stay tuned.
Anyway, I’m headed off to Whistler for the weekend for a Heather Robertson’s stagette(My long time fitness pal and Fitness superstar, I’m so proud of my friends;), so I’m sure I’ll be popping in here and there. I’m super excited to have the old fitness gang back together for a weekend. It will be a blast, plus I’m sure I’ll get in a few photos to share with you.
As for BMM’s final Challenge of 2017, it will be launching September 1st. Between you and I, there will be no registration fee for current VIP members. So if you want to skip the fee register as a VIP member for only $25 at www.bodymakeovermovement.com as soon as you see this post. It’s bound to change as things start getting announced throughout this month on social media and through the newsletter.
Alright, I think that’s it for now. Chat soon. Call, text, or message me for details about anything. I’ll be happy to fill you in, or get you booked.
Bye for now-
